Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! are essentially remakes of Pokémon Yellow, which itself was an updated version of Pokémon Red and Blue in which more closely follows the Pokémon anime series. While the overall story does remain faithful to the original Pokémon Yellow, there are a number of changes and updates present in these new versions of the first-generation Pokémon games.
