Legendary and Mythical Pokémon in Let's Go

This guide will show you how to get Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew, Meltan, and Melmetal in “Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee.” Find and capture all of the Legendary and Mythical Pokemon available in these Pokemon games for Nintendo Switch.

How to Obtain All Legendary and Mythical Pokémon in “Pokémon Let’s Go”

Legendary Pokémon are super rare, and often, super powerful Pokémon that play a key role in the myths and legends of the Pokémon universe. These Pokémon play a key role in the story of the main series Pokémon games and tend to be difficult to capture. There is only one of each Legendary Pokémon available in each game.

Mythical Pokémon are similar to Legendary Pokémon, but they are so rare in the Pokémon world, that many people question their very existence. Mythical Pokémon cannot be obtained through regular gameplay in the main series Pokémon games. The only way to get these hyper rare Pokémon is through special events. Before generation V, Mythical Pokémon were considered to be Legendary Pokémon in the US, though both groups have always been regarded as distinct in Japanese Pokémon media.

Four Legendary Pokemon and three Mythical Pokemon are available in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! The three Legendary Birds; Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, in addition to the experimental Mewtwo can be found in these Gen 1 remakes. Mew and the newly discovered Meltan and its evolution Melmetal can also be obtained in these games through special means.

How to Obtain All Alolan Forms in “Pokémon Let’s Go”

How to Get Alolan Pokemon in Let's Go

Alolan forms of certain Kanto region Pokemon can be obtained in Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee through in-game trades with NPC and by transferring from the Pokemon Go mobile game. This guide will show you where to find each of these special Alolan regional variants.

How to Obtain All Alolan Forms in “Pokémon Let’s Go”

Alolan forms are regional variants of certain Pokémon species found in the Alolan region, which were originally introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon for Nintendo 3DS. Since the Alola region is a remote island separated from the mainland, certain Pokémon species adapted to the different environment and look a bit different from their Kanto counterparts. These Pokémon have different types than the original versions, so having both forms may put you at an advantage when assembling your team for certain important battles.

Style Savvy: Pokémon Edition!

Eevee in a cute outfit

I had a great idea for a game that I wish Nintendo would make, even though I know they probably wouldn’t: Style Savvy: Pokémon Edition. It would be just like the regular Style Savvy games, but set in the world of Pokémon, and your customers would be Pokémon trainers looking for outfits for their Pokémon. Some customers would also be looking for matching outfits for themselves and their Pokémon.

The recent announcement of hairstyles for your partner Pokémon in the upcoming Pokémon: Let’s Go games sparked this idea. There have already been Pokémon that can be dressed up in previous Pokémon games, including the “cosplay Pikachu” introduced in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Some main series Pokémon games also allow the player to change their own outfit and hairstyle.

Eevee has bangs!

Style Savvy: Pokémon Edition would be a spin-off Pokémon/Style Savvy crossover focuses mainly on the dress-up aspects of Pokémon.  A hair salon for Pokémon would also be available in the game, much like the hair salon in the previous Style Savvy games.

I know a lot of hardcore Pokémon fans would hate this idea, but there are so many other Pokémon spin-off games. This game idea isn’t any more ridiculous than Pokken Tournament, Pokémon Art Academy, or Pokémon Pinball.

Cosplay Pikachu

Style Savvy: Pokémon Edition would be popular with a particular niche of Pokémon fans. Style Savvy is more popular than many gamers realize, and Style Savvy: Pokémon Edition would be popular with fans of both series. It may also bring new fans to the Style Savvy series who have never even considered playing a dress up game before but would be interested in a Pokémon version.

There are so many other Pokémon spin off games that have been released over the past couple decades. I think a Pokémon Style Savvy crossover would be an excellent addition to the ever-growing Pokémon game library.

Preferably, this game would be on the Nintendo Switch, rather than 3DS.

Everything We Know About “Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!” and “Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!” so Far

Though Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are not the core Pokémon RPGs that fans were hoping for, many long-time fans of the series are still hyped about these new Pokémon RPG games for the Nintendo Switch. While these games aren’t scheduled to be released until November 16th, 2018, Nintendo has been slowly unveiling details about these two new games.

These two games are based on Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition, the enhanced version of the first-generation Pokémon games originally released on the Nintendo GameBoy. While Nintendo states that they are not direct remakes of Pokémon Yellow, they are reimagined and updated retellings of this game. These two new Pokémon games also feature Pokémon catching mechanics similar to those of Pokémon Go.

While Nintendo still hasn’t told us everything about these games yet, we do have some details about them already.

Lillie and Nebby Nendoroid Review

While I usually post collectible and toy reviews on this blog, I decided to publish my most recent Nendoroid review on HobbyLark.com to reach a wider audience. Check out the full review over there!

Pokémon Center Lillie Nendoroid Review

My most recent Nendoroid purchase is Lillie from Pokémon Sun and Moon. I preordered her from the Pokémon Center website back in July, and she finally arrived on New Years Eve (thanks USPS for Sunday delivery!). She came with her Cosmog companion, Nebby, who still refuses to get in the bag.

In addition to Nebby, Lillie came with several accessories. She has the duffle bag that she carries in the games, in which she unsuccessfully attempts to get Nebby to stay. She also has her hat, which is removeable. I also got a Pokédoll accessory with my Lillie Nendoroid because I preordered her from the Pokémon Center website. Collectors who preordered her from Good Smile got a potion bottle accessory instead.
